Dr. Desiree Cox will host a new radio show 'Healing through Creativity'. Her show will debut on the Health and Wellness Channel of the largest live internet talk radio broadcasting company in the United States - VoiceAmerica. 'Healing through Creativity' debuts on Thursday June 17th, 2010and will be heard every Thursday from 12:00 noon to 13:00 EST (9:00am to 10:00am PST or 5:00pm to 6:00pm for those of you in the UK). Shows will also be re-broadcasted 12 hours later and archived for On-Demand listening. About Outside In London Exhibition Combining visionary paintings and evocative poetry, Outside In is an exhibition of contemporary surreal images which draw the viewer into the mythical and colourful real and unreal worlds that revolve in, through and outside o us. The exhibition is a translation of these conscious and unconscious excursions into a series of images painted on canvas and with words, which invite the viewer to bask in various inner states. In this exhibition, the artist, originally a scientist and medical doctor now also artist and writer, with twenty-five years experience of exploring the worlds of medicine and humanities shares images from her transformation - the turning outside in and inside out - towards 'whole person' health. Moments Desiree is working on a book (a collection of poems and paintings). She thanks the Cropper Foundation for their support. Many poems from the book were written during the Cropper Foundation Writers Residency (2008). Desiree recently participated in a performance in New York City, where she connected her art and Jazz songs with poems from her forthcoming book.
